Hey Beirut, you are right. I agree, the content quality should be the most important factor.

As for the attitude vs character, I think a character is more broad, I mean a specific character can have one or more set of distinguished attitudes. Different attitudes can be summed up to form a character.

What do you think is more important, one attitude reflection of a character, or more different attitudes that sum up to shape a more distinguished character?

Deaf Fadi,

Thank you for your valuable comments and questions...

Let me tell you what I think:

I think what makes a distinguishable character or "persona" is the attitude behind that persona. Using features such as an adding a picture or writing a brief profile or adding hobbies and interests are all part of a general attitude that makes up a personality. Do u agree?

Now, as for your question, I think specialization is a key, in some blogs I have visited for my research, I found out that the reason for their success was their specialization in a certain field, topic or belief. Yet, successful specialization is an umbrella of diversification! Meaning? Well, no matter what you specialize in, if u can't find valuable and unique content every time to blog about it, people will eventually get bored as well. That is why photos, graphs, videos (as I referred in the article above) are very essential to allow more flexibility and add an element of interest in what you blog about.

Thanks again for your time :)

ah, and Beirut, I have a question: What about specialization? Does it matter for a blog to specialize in a certain area? People like to categorize and know what to expect when they come to read what you have to offer on your blog. It is easier to maintain a specialized blog rather than a general one, no?

I guess it is more about a distinguished character that is remembered rather than a certain attitude.

I like the engage in real conversations and personalizing things. That is so true. There is a certain bond that one can build by making better recognition of his blog visitors. That is the bond one should care about, because it keeps them coming back.

Very true Amer...

There are billions of overwhelming and overlapping attitudes driven from feelings which one can have at any different time of day or night, I can never list them all... Yet, I listed the top tips on how to use those attitudes so you and others could add the spices to my post by stating your comments and opinions on the whole topic of the write attitude :)

Okay, so you talked about having an attitude, but what types of attitudes are out there? You mentioned positive and negative, but I think one can also be sympathetic to a topic/person who most of the other people people are attacking (just like the leave Britney Spears alone video!)
Or just the opposite of that, is people who attacked Mother Teresa. Both these examples were on the edges of the norm.

Another attitude can be arrogance. If it's more than the normal, its more noticeable!

I'm sure there is more, but that's what I can think of for the moment...

Finally, if a person chose his attitude to be offensive, it can attract people but leave them with a negative impression, thus not recommending or ever coming back to the blog!

Just some thoughts off the top of my head. :)

Hello all:

I think there is something I need to mention:

"Two men look out the same prison bars; one sees mud and the other stars." Frederick Langbridge

No every attitude will eventually match that of your visitors that is why it is essential to know more about them and also never opt for the approval of everyone, just the few that really count :)
