The Non-Geek Christmas Gadget Guide

Whether they’re the next rockstars, the world’s biggest geeks, or even Stepford wives, these gift picks are probably going to fit right into the lives of the characters they were picked for, as much as Twitter fits into ours.

This awww-inducing, ladybug-shaped speaker will make it much easier for music-lovers to impose their taste in music on other people. Who could possibly resist the cuteness? Just don’t give it to anyone with bad taste.

For the OCD: The CyberClean

This also doesn’t exactly classify as a gadget, but it’s probably the most useful item on this list, as well as the most brilliant. The gooish, gadget-cleaning substance goes all the way between the keys on your keyboard, cellphone, and other germ-incubating gadgets and snatches out all the dirt and dust.

For the Potterhead: Wand Remote Control

Magic Wand Remote Control

This magic wand remote control will be very useful come summer, when your Potterhead buddy will be jumping down excitedly over the release of yet another Harry Potter movie installment. That aside, it’s actually quite nifty. It uses gesture recognition to change tv channels, adjust volume, and perform any other predefined functions. Okay, I hate to admit this, but I actually want one. Seriously though, who thinks of this stuff?
