Welcome to another episode of Thoughtpick’s series of articles: Apps Using SM Brilliantly. We will again be looking into examples of tricks and methods that online games and applications are using to make the most of social media. In other words, what is making those apps as “spreadable” and “viral” as they are.

Today’s application is: Facebook’s Friend’s Facts Application.

The Application:

Maybe not as colorful and attractive to the eye as the other applications we have covered so far, however, Friends Facts seems to be on the rise! It has been showing up in my updates’ stream regularly for the past period and it seems to be slowly gaining fame and popularity!

What They Did:

Apart from giving Facebook users a chance to ask and answer specific questions about their friends (see first image), Friends Facts allows users to further rate their Facebook friends and post the rating on their wall.

So even if you have never heard of the application before, the chances are you will, sooner or later, as soon as one of your friends uses the application to rate you. Chances are, you will rate them back in return! Very social, right?

Finally, I would like to ask you a couple of questions: What do you think of Friends Facts Application? Have you tried it yet? If not, share with us your reasons or just let us know what you think of it down below…

That one I really like. It's social by concept. I like that it realizes that people exist beyond online & Facebook. Not all apps do that!

    Great post, Beirut :)
