In September 2010, Apple launched Ping, its music-centric social network, and it was damn good: ONE MILLION users registered in less the 48 hours! However, after Ping was able to attract all those people, it seems to be unable to keep them interested, especially during the daytime hours.
So, what is the problem?
Personally, I think it’s just a lack of good continuous advertising to remind all those registered users to use the service they signed up for and of the new features that are made available to them. I mean with all the distractions people have, ranging from work, chores and the multiple technology gadgets and web outlets that strive to take from our time, our attention span is becoming that of a gold fish!
