TED talk is here once again, and it leads to new realizations of relationships… worldwide!

“McCandless whipped out the chart during a TED talk this past summer. Apparently, he and his team scraped 10,000 status updates for the phrases “break up” and “broken up,” and made the following discoveries: 1). A ton of people break up before social occasions like Spring Break and the summer, 2). Mondays aren’t just the start of the work week — they are the end of many a relationship, 3). People have the decency not to dump their significant others on Christmas Day.” ~ Mashable

A fun visualization by Focus magazine about …“the explosion of social networking sites over the past decade has facilitated a transformation in the way we communicate with each other. Here’s a list of some of these communities with over 1 million users, both active and defunct.” It’s ironic how I almost never heard about most of the sites on this list!
